EXPERIENCE SUMMARY

Native of Tallahassee, Florida, whose 35-year real estate career has involved the appraisal of real estate and appraisal review, sales and property management, as well the ownership and management of two real estate brokerages.  Appraisal services have been rendered for mortgage lending, listing, purchasing, estate and divorce settlement, taxation appeal, litigation, and other purposes, with over 30,000 assignments completed.  These services have been rendered in 48 counties in the State of Florida. However, his primary service area is Franklin, Gadsden, Jefferson, Leon, and Wakulla Counties.

Residential valuation/evaluation assignments have involved vacant subdivision lots, vacant acreage, improved agricultural land, houses, manufactured homes, townhouses, duplexes, triplexes, quadriplexes, and condominiums.  Recognized as a specialist in the appraisal of unique and historic homes.  Commissioned to appraise the first 3D printed house in the State of Florida, the only private residence in the State of Florida that was designed and built by Frank Lloyd Wright, and a house built and featured by the ABC television program "Extreme Makeover - Home Edition".  Houses of worship, auto-repair facilities, motels, farms, plantations, office buildings, warehouses, restaurants, apartment complexes, subdivision developments and retail properties are among the more complex assignments that have been completed.

Consultation has been provided to Realtors, attorneys, developers, builders, and investors, and to HOA's and COA's.  Solicited for opinions and quotes by reporters for the local newspaper and a national magazine. Invited guest on a radio talk show, experience as an expert witness in litigation and state appraisal board cases, publisher of trade association newsletter articles, regular speaker at home buying and selling seminars and professional association meetings.  Active involvement in many professional associations including service as a Committee Chairperson, Chapter Secretary, and the past President of the American Society of Appraisers, former Chapter 106, and past Chapter Secretary, Vice-President, President, Education Committee Member, Grievance Committee Chairperson, Regional Representative, and Director of the former NW Florida Chapter of the Appraisal Institute, past Education Committee Member and past Regional Representative for the Florida Gulf Coast Chapter of the Appraisal Institute,  past 2nd Vice-President of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Tallahassee and current MLS Committee Member for the Tallahassee Board of Realtors.  Recognized nationally by the Appraisal Institute in October 2012 as a "Volunteer of Distinction", for contributions made to the Appraisal Institute, to the appraisal profession, and to the community of Tallahassee in general.
